Eagle 40

The Eagle 40 Pilot House boasts a walk around deck, two helm stations, richly finished teak work, generous storage space & minimal 6'4" headroom. These are just some of the amenities found aboard this heavy weather, raised pilothouse cruiser. The modern semi-displacement, hand-laid fiberglass hull offers superb sea keeping, responsive handling, security and safety at rest or in rough seas. Single or double stateroom plans are available. A queen size, island berth with hanging lockers, drawers and hull storage lockers are offered in the single stateroom plan. A double berth and upper and lower berths are the sleeping arrangements built in the double stateroom plan. With a 230 hp Electronic QSB 5.9m Cummins diesel, she cruises at around 10 knots; top at 12 knots, optional engines up to 350 hp will produce cruising speeds of around 14 knots. Hull & Deck

The Eagle 40 Pilot House Hull is solid FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester) with grid moldings. The Deck is FRP Laminated non Skid. All Stainless steel fittings are #316 Stainless. Standard features include bow rail, bow anchor rollers, protective hull plate, teak and stainless swim platform, flag pole, cockpit storage lockers. The aft cockpit lazarette provides good storage as well as accommodating the optional generator.

Upper Helm & Deck

The Fly Bridge boasts full instrumentation (see upper helm) and controls with an upholstered bench seat with storage under for LPG. Acrylic and stainless windscreen provides protection from the wind along with a quality sunbrella bimini. The upper deck has a double 1 1/4" Stainless Railing. Access is via the aft cockpit.

Lower Helm & Pilothouse

The Lower helm has full instrumentation, engine controls, electric wipers, chart table, upper lounge and table, pilots seat and footrest as standard. Access is via the saloon or through the port and starboard doors. The floor is teak & holly finish. The settee has an off watch bunk and an optional privacy curtain converts this area into a double bunk. An optional Head is available to the pilot house.

Saloon

Large port and starboard windows provide plenty of light and ventilation to this great entertaining area. The dining table provides seating for up to eight people with a teak & holly floor as standard. A surround sound system and 20" LCD TV have been included.

Galley

The U shaped galley has as standard a double stainless steel sink with single lever tap for easy operation. The gas range and 200L fridge provide the utensils for making those great experiences unforgetable. The Formica galley tops and teak cupboards provide plenty of storage on extended trips.

Master Stateroom (Single Cabin Layout)

The master stateroom is located forward of the pilot house with an easily accessible Queen size island berth and plenty of storage as the focal point of the single cabin layout. A rich array of timberwork to the hull linings, hanger lockers, dresser and bookshelf is beautifully complimented by the teak and holly floor. A combination of port holes and deck hatches provide natural light and ventilation. (A twin cabin layout sees the Queen berth to port)

Guest Statetoom (Two Cabin Layout

When configured as a twin cabin layout the guest stateroom is located aft of the master stateroom and to port. Once again a rich timber work to the hull liner, hanger locker, dresser and teak & holly floor confirms the excellent craftsmanship that goes into each Eagle Yacht. A cleaver settee to this area converts to a upper and lower berth as required. A combination of Port holes and Deck hatches provide natural light and ventilation.

Bathroom Head

The bathroom is all FRP to provide easy cleaning and low maintenance to this area. Included are a separate stall shower, wash basin and mirrored medicine cabinet. The electric marine toilet is standard with holding tank.

Engineering

The standard engine runs 160 AMP 12V Alternator with 900FG2 Filters with flexible USCG & EU approved fuel lines, FRP exhaust silencers, stainless intake strainers and fully bonded earth. The drive train consists of 2" Aquatech 17 stainless shafts with PYI dripless seals with a 4 blade bronze propeller and SS Rudder. An emergcy tiller is provided along with standard 30AMP 240V shore power point.
