Dealer Principal - Michael Waugh

Michael has a vast array of design and mechanical expertise in the marine industry. He became the Dealer Principal for Nitro Marine in 2002 where he has grown the dealership and achieved international accolades from Mercury Marine (Brunswick Corporation) and also various awards within Australia. His experience of over 40 years included many hours on small inflatables to sailing yachts to large flybridge planing vessels before looking for a capable semi-displacement offshore cruiser in 2006 that was also as comfortable and family friendly inshore around the local broadwater on the Gold Coast. This search led him to Transpacific Marine and the Eagle range which he has developed closely with the builder and yard since. His professional qualifications include Mercury University training on various marine products and engineering, he is also qualified by Queensland BSA as a Low Rise Builder (licence 23907).

Consultant - Robert Waugh

Robert has been working with Eagle Cruisers since 2006. He is a qualified GISBS Yachting Australia Instructor and also holds a Restricted Coxswain ticket (Qld), Cert II in Transport and Distribution (Coastal Maritime Operations), and ESS. His experience in computer design also allows him to work with the builder in providing plans and sketches to our customers to aid them through the design process.

Builder - Transpacific Marine

Transpacific Marine has been building boats in the Asian region since the 1960s. They have built a variety of vessels of the past 50 years and moved production from Taiwan to mainland China in 1997. Offices are located in the Taiwan and the USA. More recently in 2011 the yard in China completed two new buildings for its production. They have also worked with Eagle Cruisers Australia in developing updated designs for their range along with their naval architect, Andrea Viacava. Transpacific Marine aims to build the highest quality vessels which rival any boat brand around the world. We encourage a working holiday to China as part of the build process to view the factory and facilities and also your vessel in its construction phase.

Service Agent - Nitro Marine

Eagle Cruisers Australia Pty Ltd has appointed Nitro Marine as its service agent which has been based on the Gold Coast since 1980 representing Mercury & Mariner outboards, Mercruiser, Cummins CMD, Stacer boats, Crownline, Triton & Quicksilver boats. Nitro Marine has been working with Transpacific Marine and Eagle Cruisers Australia since 2006 overseeing the construction of Eagle 5308 starting June 2007. In 2008 and 2009 Nitro Marine was awarded Mercury Marine Dealer of the Year for Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific back to back as well as Australian Stacer Dealer of the Year. Nitro Marine is able to service all Eagle Customers throughout Australia and is available 24/7 for their requirements. Nitro Marine has contacts various locations around the country should any issues arise that require urgent attention.
